For the most situations, are the adjectives 'horrible' and 'terrible' synonyms? But I often come across the word 'nasty' with a similar meaning like 'nasty cough' or 'nasty smell'. Is there any difference or is 'nasty' the same as 'terrible' (or 'horrible')?
