She can make 8 because 11.25*7=78.75,
but 11.25*9=90, so she can make 8 but have 9 feet left

To do this we will divide the amount of feet she has (87.75) by the amount of feet each banner (11.25) will be,

87.75 ÷ 11.25 = 7.8

So, Elizabeth can make 7 banners which are 11.25 feet long, and she will have 8 feet left.

Hope I helped ya!! xD
