If a decimal repeats, that means it can be written over 9. So 0.7 repeating equals 7/9. Then add the amount to the left of the decimal, in this case 3.   3 + 7/9 = 3  7/9
0.7

0.7 × 10 = 7
7/9

3 + 7/9 = ?

3 7/9

0.7 as a repeating fraction is 3 7/9.
