Ben Affleck help launched the Eastern Congo Initiative, a support community organization that works for gender-based violence victims and to help the community rebuild what was lost after a long war. He had fallen in love with the people of Congo after several visit in there place. After seeing with his own eyes their situations and needs, he had the urged to do something to help them.
