When [tex]y=0[/tex]


[tex]6x + 2(0) = 30[/tex]


[tex]x = 30/6 = 5[/tex]

X=5 is the answer. Since y=0, the 2y is taken out of the equation and all ur left with is 6x=30. Then isolate the variable and divide 6 to both sides and u end up with x=5
