What were the dangers in the paleolithic age?

They all struggled with insects and the shift in diet and lifestyle at the beginning. Some of them had hundreds of insect bites on them after just a couple of days, and a lot of the foods they were eating were completely foreign to their palates. In a way, many of them suffered culture shock at the beginning, which is entirely understandable, as many of them had never even been camping.
