the bottom is the base, so 2.4 is the base.

the heights are the sides so 3.2 and 4 would be the heights.

1/2 (2.4 x 3.2 + 4)

you would do everything in the parenthesis first and then divide by 2.

you would do this for every problem that is a triangle

the formula is 1/2(b x h) if there is one height, but if there is 2 you would do 1/2(b x h + h)
