There were three similes which were used in the book whose title is Speak. Those similes are;
1) Art follows lunch like dream follows nightmare.
2) Nose like a credit card sunk between his eyes.
3) Heather geeking around me like a moth. These are the three similes which have been used in the first making period in the book speak which increases the rhythm of the book and the way the book has been written by using these poetic devices like similes.
