Atoms of Mg  =  mol  *  L

     mol of Mg =  [tex] \frac{MASS}{MOLAR MASS} [/tex]

                      =  [tex] \frac{48.60 g}{24.30 g / mol} [/tex]

                      =  2 mol

∴ atoms of Mg  =  2 mol  *  ( 6.02  x  10²³)
                         =  1.204  x  10²⁴
