The area of  the original parallelogram is expressed as, A = b x h which is equal to 46 cm².  The second parallelogram has dimensions equal to b/3 and 2h. Its area is,
                                       A = (b/3) x (2h) = 2bh/3
which is equal to A = 2(bh) / 3 = 2(46 cm²) / 3 = 30.67 cm²
Thus, the area of the second parallelogram is approximately 30.67 cm².
