The difference is the power that is given to the president and the monarchy.

Obviously, they will both serve for life, but the difference is, is that a monarchy is a central government.

They rule everything by themselves.

The president still has restrictions.

The House of Representatives and the Senate could still impeach and vote the president out of power, as well vote and veto on the President's actions.
