Use the distributive property to find (y+6)(y+4)​

To simplify using the distributive property,
You must multiply the second parentheses by each term in the first parentheses.
y(y + 4) + 6(y + 4)
y^2 + 4y + 6y + 24
Combine like terms.
y^2 + 10y + 24 is your answer.
