Step-by-step explanation:

Solution:

Given:-

(X+y,y+3)=(6,2y)

Equating corresponding elements,we get,

X+y=6------(1)

y+3=2y-----(2)

solving equation (2),

y-2y=-3

-y=-3

y=3.

Now, substituting y=3 in equation (1)

X+3=6

X=6-3

X=3

Therefore,. (X,Y) = (3,3)
