How do you find the unknown side if you have the area and the other side?

Answer:

if you have the area (i'm assuming this is a square or rectangle) and one side, you can use division to find the other side

the formula for area is (side 1)(side 2) = area

so using this, divide the area by the side you do know, and you will get the unknown side
