By definition, when we say linear equation, it has two variables in an equation that can be written in the form of Ax + By = C where both A and B are not equal to 0. In order to determine if it is linear or not, the exponents should be one. In the given table above, it consists of a series of points. Consider it that slope (m) of a line is a constant rate of change, if the x-coordinate, changes by a specific amount the y-coordinate does to. Hope this answer helps.
