I'm not completely sure what you're asking, but I'll try :D

3(2x + 9)  = 3(2x) + 3(9) = 6x + 27
^^Distributed^^

3 * 2x = 6x
3 * 9 = 27

So 3(2x + 9) expanded is 6x + 27, or 3(2x) + 3(9).
