x = - [tex]\frac{b}{2a}[/tex]

y = 4x² + 32x - 11 ← is in standard form

with a = 4, b = 32 , then

x = - [tex]\frac{32}{8}[/tex] = - 4

Substitute x = - 4 into the equation for corresponding y- coordinate

y = 4(- 4)² + 32(- 4) - 11

  = 4(16) - 128 - 11

  = 64 - 139

   = - 75
