Answer:

7, 11, 15, 19, 23, ... To get the terms in the original sequence, we need to add on 3 to each of the terms in the 4n sequence. Hence, the general formula for the nth term of the original sequence is 4n + 3.

Here,

First term(a) = 7

common difference(d) = 11 - 7

= 4

last term(tn) = ?

Now,

tn = a + (n - 1)*d

or, tn = 7 + (n - 1)*4

or, tn = 7 + 4n - 4

◆ tn = 4n + 3
