  • From the short stories, it illustrated the hospitality and the friendliness of the Filipinos. They're always welcoming and smile to visitors.

  • It also illustrated that English is spoken among lots of the people in the country. Public displays of strong emotions and anger aren't acceptable.

  • The stories were also vital as it showed that majority of them are Roman Catholics and that the majority of their ancestors were from Malay descent.

In conclusion, the stories explains the culture of the Filipinos.
