The line of best fit tries to find make a trend that isn’t straight, into a straight line so we can find somewhat of a pattern.
a) At 4 years, we can see that the price plotted is under the line of best fit. This means that the price was slightly less than the average trend, about $2500 less.
b) At 12 years, we can the that the price plotted is above the line of best fit. This means that the price was slightly above the average trend, about $2500 more.
