(n + 1)² - n² = 239

n² + 2n + 1 - n² = 239

2n + 1 = 239 ( subtract 1 from both sides )

2n = 238 ( divide both sides by 2 )

n = 119

n + 1 = 119 + 1 = 120

the 2 integers are 119 and 120

as a check

120² - 119² = 14400 - 14161 = 239
