The team with the greater regular season record will have “home-court advantage” for the series. For example, this year the Warriors went 58–24, while the Cavs only went 50–32, thus granting the Warriors home-court advantage. This means that the first two games will be played at the higher seed’s home court, then the next two games will be played away, and the last three games (if necessary) will alternate home, away, home.
