The next number in the given series is; 63.5

How to solve Arithmetic Sequence?

We are given the sequence;

32, 48, 56, 60, 62, 63

Now, the difference in numbers from first to last are respectively;

16, 8, 4, 2, 1

Now, this means that the difference decreases by a factor of 2 for consecutive numbers which will be added to the previous number to get the next number.

Thus, the next number in the given series is;
