The slope of the line is:

[tex]m=-\frac{3}{5}[/tex]

To find the slope of a line with two points, P and Q, the formula is:

[tex]\begin{gathered} P=(x_p,y_p);Q=(x_q,y_q) \\ m=\frac{y_p-y_q}{x_p-x_q} \end{gathered}[/tex]

Then if P = (-4, 1) and Q = (1, -2)

We can replace inthe formula:

[tex]m=\frac{1-(-2)}{-4-1}=-\frac{3}{5}[/tex]
