If f(x) = 3* + 10 and g(x) = 2x - 4, find (f - g)(x).A. (f- g)(x) = x + 14B. (f- g)(x) = 3x + 2x + 6C. (f-9)(x) = -3x + 2x - 14D. (f-g)(x) = 3x - 2x + 14

We have two functions:

[tex]f(x)\text{ = 3x + 10}[/tex]

And

[tex]g(x)\text{ = 2x - 4}[/tex]

The subtraction is:

[tex]f(x)\text{ - g(x) = 3x + 10 - (2x - 4)}[/tex]

Subtracting the common terms:

[tex]f(x)\text{ - g(x) = (3x - 2x) + (10-4) = x - 6}[/tex]

The answer is:

[tex]f(x)\text{ - g(x) = x - 6}[/tex]
