Circumference = 2πr

where c is the circumference and r is the radius

π = 22/7

[tex]18\text{ 1/2= 2}\times\frac{22}{7}\times r[/tex][tex]\frac{37}{2}=\frac{44r}{7}[/tex]

cross-multiply

[tex]259=88r[/tex]

Divide both-side by 88

r= 2.94 cm
