Carolina needs a total of 14-3/4 pounds of clay for a project. If she needs 4-1/4 pounds of blue clay and 3-2/3 pounds of green clay. The rest of the clay she needs is red. How much red clay does she need?

4 1/4 + 3 2/3 = 7 11/12 Now subtract that from 14 3/4 would need 6 5/6 of red clay
