Perimeter is all sides added together. A square all sides are equal. One side = .5 all sides do. So .5 x 4 = 2

The formula to find the perimeter would be length+width+length+width. Since one side is 5 inches, we do 5+5+5+5 = 20. Therefore, the perimeter of the square is 20 inches.
