DAC is the traditional method of implementing access control. DAC stands for Discretionary access control, and actually refers to giving access to people. This type of control states what requestors of access are allowed, or are not allowed to do, when it comes to their access rules, or authorizations. It is a type of a security protocol that enables users who have authorizations to have access to whatever they want.
