You can make a formula for this problem- 1296a+2592b=54432
A is the number of tickets from NYC to Tokyo 
B is the number of tickets from NYC to Sydney
If you input all the numbers possible inside, the problem clearly states it has to be excatly $54432. 

The answer is A, B, and D. 
C goes over the total and E is way too less.
