The product of -6 and the quantity of the sum of a number, x, and 8 is more than -36. what are the possible solutions for the number?

-6x - 48 > -36
-6x > -36 + 48
-6x > 12
x < -12/6
x < -2 <=== possible solutions are anything less then - 2......like -3,-4,-5 etc
