Le the number be 'n'
half of 'n' = n/2
Sum = n/2 + 6
Ten times = 10(n/2 + 6) =
Equals 10(n/2 + 6) = 8
Multiply out the brackets
10n /2 + 60 = 8
5n + 60 = 8
5n = 8 - 60
5n= -52
n = -10. 4
