First distribute 3 to the numbers in the parenthesis.
-18+15x-6+8
Then combine like terms.
-18+15x+2
15x-16

Follow BEDMAS
[tex]-18 + 3 (5x - 2) + 8[/tex]
Distribute the Brackets.
[tex]-18 + 3*5x - 3*2 + 8[/tex]
[tex]-18 + 15x - 6 + 8[/tex]
Add like terms.
[tex]-18 + 15x +2[/tex]
[tex]-16 + 15x[/tex]
