The social effects of the bubonic plague spreading from Asia to Europe is that people were starting to get scared and they were having to bury locals everyday. Some many people died, that there were barely anyone to work the fields. And even the monarchy began to fall as well. In four years, the plague killed between 1/4 and 2/3 of everyone living in Europe.
