For the given inequality, we can simplify it using like terms to get 38 < 4x + 10 - 3x. We simplify it even more to get 38 < x + 10. Subtracting 10 from each side we get x > 28. As a result, the answer would be (B), x > 28. All of the other answers do not match with x>28. The inequality does not change direction since we are not multiplying/dividing with negative numbers.
