Given points: (0, 4) and (-8, -1) 

First, find the slope. 

m=(y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁) 
m=(-1-4)/(-8-0) 
m=(-5)/(-8) 
m=5/8 <--- this is positive because a negative divided by a negative is positive)

The correct solution is B.
