Explain why the dna molecules in the first round of dna replication look different than the dna molecules in the second rounds of dna replication ?

Newly replicated DNA that contained the 14N isotope. this generation is considered generation I. A sample of DNA was taken from this generation and centrifuged as before. Generations ii AND iii were treated in the same way.
