Given from the question
(x₁,y₁) = (2,1)
(x₂,y₂) = (-1,-1)

We find the slope by this formula
m = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

Plug the numbers into the formula
m = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)
m = (-1-1) / (-1-2)
m = -2/-3
m = 2/3

The slope of the line is 2/3
