Saprophytic plants are plants
(not fungus) that have no chlorophyll and no green coloring. They get
all their nutrients from decaying organic matter rather than making
their own food as most plants do.
They are non-fungal plants with no chlorophyll. They get nutrients from dead or decaying things as opposed to making their food. They also have no green coloring.
