On September 2001 the 9/11 attack had happened George W. Bush declared a war on terrorism. This led to attacking Iraq where Saddam Hussein ruled so that they could stop them from building nuclear weapons. The United Nations claimed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and that the Iraq government was connected to the terrorists of al Qaeda.
