Jack buys a pair of shoes for $52 and pays $2.60 sales tax. How much sales tax will his friend pay if his friend purchases a shirt for $28?

To answer this you would divide 52 by 2.60 which is 20,
So, 28 / 20 = 1.40,

So the answer is $140 sales tax.
